Senior scientist at the CSIC’s Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA), which he joined in 2017 as a Marie-Curie Fellow after earning a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Verona (Italy). 

His research focuses on optimisation through cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals through, for example, shared mobility, collective energy purchasing and cooperative learning.
