Writer and playwright
The author of more than fifteen novels and collections of short stories, he has won the leading prizes in Catalan literature and has been translated into almost fifteen languages.
Three of his novels have been made into films by the director Ventura Pons, and his latest book, Seré el teu mirall [I Will Be Your Mirror], has been awarded the 2023 Barcelona Santa Eulàlia Novel Prize. He currently divides his creative interests between storytelling and theatre, where he has premiered Brossa enrabiat [Angry Brossa], Espai Brossa, 2019, Manual de supervivència. Homenatge a Boris Vian [Survival Manual. Tribute to Boris Vian], Teatre Romea, 2021, Tot llegint Pierpaolo [While Reading Pierpaolo], Teatre Romea, 2022 and Planeta Ferrater [Planet Ferrater], 2022.
