Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Automatic Engineering at the University of Girona, where she is the head of AI research in medicine and healthcare in the eXiT research group.
She is co-founder of the company Newronia and member of the MJN Advisory Board. She is a member of the Catalan AI Association, which she chaired from 2014 to 2016, the Spanish network IABiomed-Net, and the international AI network CLAIRE. She has participated in the projects PEPPER (treatment of people with type 1 diabetes), NoaH (home monitoring of premature babies) and TDApp (participatory and personalised recommendations for people with ADHD).
