Decoration is the distinctive feature and the essence of our festival. That’s why residents and shopkeepers join in the celebration by bringing the festival’s decoration to their homes, balconies, or shop windows. This year, there will be 42 pieces created by locals and shopkeepers, which will be mentioned in the official programme of the Gràcia festa major.

The Gràcia Festa Major Foundation and the festival committees that make it up define themselves as neighbourhood spaces open to everyone. This year, the committees worked with users of the following third-sector organisations:

Ludalia: An organisation that works with individuals experiencing mental health issues, offering them various recreational and leisure opportunities to integrate with the broader society.
ATRA Prelabour Service: Located on Carrer Tordera, they work for the social and occupational integration of people with mental health problems.
Eneida: Located on Carrer Venus, they carry out educational activities and occupational
therapies for young people and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Joia: From the Camp d’en Grassot area, they work towards the full integration into
society (in terms of employment, leisure and clubs) of people with
mental health problems.
