Violinist Ara Malikian

A double date with violinist Ara Malikian at the Auditorium of the Forum

The world tour by this virtuoso musician stops off in Barcelona on 26 and 27 December.

Ara Malikian, one of today’s most popular violinists, will be bringing all his virtuosity to the stage of the Auditorium at the Forum this Christmas on The Incredible Violin Tour. The two performances will take place on 26 and 27 December.

His unique style and innovative concerts have made Malikian the world’s best known violinist, and his performances are attended by public of all ages, serving to introduce the instrument classical music to the general public. Malikian learned how to play the little violin at a very young age, under the influence of his father, and made his major concert debut at the age of 12. He has performed in Catalonia on a number of occasions, accompanied by the Vallès Symphony Orchestra (OSV). The Incredible Violin Tour performance tells the story of a violin made in Modena that travels to Lebanon to meet the young Ara, creating a relationship that has seen them playing together over the years and in a variety of styles that run from classical music to pop and rock.
