The third edition of Talent Festival comes to town

From the 25th to the 30th of June the Taller de Músics will present its latest projects

Among other events, June is synonymous with end-of-term festivals and competitions designed as a platform for presenting projects that have been under development since the previous summer. While most of these are merely entertaining or festive in nature and target people with some connection with the participants, the event organised by the music workshop Taller de Músics from the 25th to the 30th of June is in a category all of its own, due to the level of talent of those involved.

The Talent Festival enters its third edition with its original objectives intact, namely, in addition to presenting the work carried out over the course of the year, to act as a platform for the dissemination of young musical talent. The rehearsal space La Nau and the Omega-Morente concert venue, part of the Centre for Higher Musical Studies, will act as the centre of operations for the festival, though use will also be made of the two venues of the Apolo on the 27th.

Names that are practically unknown to us today, such as Saphie Wells, Jordi Morell, Pedro Alcon, Carmen Doorá, Jordi Mestre and Llorens Barceló, may not be so for much longer, and the Talent Festival now offers us an opportunity to witness, free of charge, the talents of these practitioners of such diverse genres as soul, jazz, rock and flamenco.
