Tap Factory: acrobatics, dance and percussio

The French company’s latest production, conceived by choreographer Vincent Pausanias, can be seen in the BARTS up until the 26th of October

Behold all fans of urban dance! Tap Factory will be performing in the BARTS during the second fortnight of October. With urban dance, tap, hip-hop and acrobatics to beat the band the prestigious French company arrives in Barcelona to present its latest production, conceived and directed by Vincent Pausanias, choreographer and founder of Tap Factory.

Receiving great critical acclaim wherever they happen to be performing, the production consists of five dancers, four of whom specialise in tap, two aerial acrobats and a percussionist. Together they create an emotive, spectacularly visual event in which percussion, dance and acrobatics are fused with poetry and humour, where the dancers’ feet appear to take on lives of their own and the art of urban dance shines through with all its brilliance. The production, in fact, is reminiscent of those of the Blue Man Group, Stomp or Tap Dogs.

Following its sojourn in Barcelona the Tap Factory production will continue its tour, taking in cities such as Paris, The Hague, Lisbon, Helsinki and Budapest.

The latest production of Tap Factory can be seen in the BARTS from the 15th to the 26th of October. Normal tickets are priced from 20 to 34 euros and more information can be found here.
