Star Wars with an orchestra and a choir

The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès and Orfeó Català interpret one of the film world's most famous soundtracks

Star Wars is one of the most famous films in the world. In fact, it's a media franchise belonging to the genre of the epic space opera, conceived of by the American producer George Lucas, who has been the main scriptwriter, director and producer of the saga of films that started the franchise. The film saga of the Star Wars franchise has mutated into other means of expression such as novels, TV series, videogames, comics, role games, war games and miniatures, meaning that we can no longer speak of it as a film series but rather as something much more massive and important.

The new offerings from this media constellation make up a so-called "expanded universe", from which much of the fictional material of the saga has been developed. And, of course, the spectacular Star Wars soundtrack simply must be heard in the voices of the Orfeó Català, and that is precisely what we recommend. It's a unique opportunity to relive, in one sole evening, the extreme emotions that the films inspire and a moment for enjoying one of the most famous soundtracks in the history of film in a location like Barcelona's Palau de la Música.
