Solo para Cortos

Solo para Cortos: cinema with social commitment

This short film festival with a political and feminist angle is set to hold its 14th edition in different cultural and civic centres in the city.

Solo para Cortos is now a fairly veteran event on Barcelona’s cultural agenda. This year sees the 14th annual edition and will be marked by politics and feminism related content from all around the globe. It’s set to begin on 13 March and will finish on 18 March and its main bases are Casal de Joves de Prosperitat and Espai Jove Les Basses.

This year's programme features plenty of variety, from a selection of social short films aimed at children to an inaugural menu of short films directed by women, as well as selections of titles from countries like Mexico, Slovenia and Morocco.
