Senior and Eef Barzelay kick off the “Bandautors” series in the Petit Palau

The Valencian musician and the leader of Clem Snide unite for the first time in a series of concerts that will also feature The Brossa String Quartet, Judit Nedderman and The New Raemon

Up until the 25th of April the Petit Palau venue in the Palau de la Música in hosting a series of six concerts entitled Bandautors. The first of these will take place on the 27th of March, beginning at 9 pm, and will feature Valencian musician Senior and the leader of Clem Snide together on the stage for the first time. Both will initially perform solo before joining forces for the finale. In his live shows, Senior has incorporated songs by the band Clem Snide sung in Catalan and the leader of Clem Snide, Eef Barzelay, has collaborated with Senior i el Cor Brutal, performing backing vocals for one of their most popular tunes, “Tots els ianquis que vull”.

The following day, the 28th, will see the turn of the Brossa String Quartet accompanied by singer Judit Nedderman in a performance that will feature a revisiting of Franz Schubert’s Winterreise (Winter Journey) with elements of pop, folk and jazz. The next concert in the series will be The New Raemon, on the 10th of April, in which the band will officially present their fifth release Oh, Rompehielos (Oh, Icebreaker). On the 16th, Ferran Palau, one of the leaders of Anímic, will present his second solo recording Santa Ferida, while the 17th will see the turn of Gemma Humet, one of Catalonia’s most unique songsters. Marina BBFAce & The Beatroots will close the Bandautors series on the 25th of April with the presentation of their latest record, Still Beating.
