Ramón Madaula and Anna Sahun star in “Idiota” in the Sala Muntaner

From the 16th of April to the 14th of June the Sala Muntaner will host Jordi Casanovas’s new play Idiota, starring just two actors, Ramón Madaula and Anna Sahun. The play supposes the return of the writer and director to the world of the thriller and the black comedy following Sopar amb batalla and Un home amb ulleres de pasta.
Idiota is conceived as a black yet entertaining and suspenseful game that deals with the limits of patience and reason and calls on the participation of the audience in order to overcome a series of emergent obstacles.
In the play, Ramón Madaula plays a man who presents himself for a series of very-well-paid psychological tests that form part of a mysterious experiment being developed by an important foundation. The man believes this will be an easy way to obtain the money he needs to solve his financial problems, but the experiment soon becomes a trap that is both physical and mental in nature. Anna Sahun plays the role of the psychologist who interviews him, putting him to the test and leading him to manifest entirely unexpected reactions.
