Pablo Neruda’s universe arrives to the theatre
On 22h of July and on 19th of August, Caixa Forum hosts a dramatic play in which, the key elements of Chilean poet are represented
Based on the texts written by Chilean playwright Jorge Diaz and on poet’s biography, “Pablo Neruda comes in flying” is scened this summer at Caixa Forum. It is directed by the Cuban director Alfredo Alonso who is accompanied by the theatre company ICTUS.
Four key events form Neruda life, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature, are represented on stage by four actors. It is a piece of art that shows the co-existence of the main themes of his art: poetry, politics, women, from the very first poems in the rainy Temuco town to the death on the Isla Negra.
