Novum 2015: The Party

Dani Jiménez is physicist and science writer specializing in the use of experiments as a stimulation tool and scientific learning. He has worked on TV3, TVE, Catalunya Radio and CosmoCaixa. He currently heads CreaCiència, a company created in the field of science and he’s going to be the curator in the Party at Novum.
 

During April 25th and 26th Les Glòries square will become a laboratory for experiencing science, technology and innovation. It is a party for all audiences, where you can work with researchers, be part of science and continue the party at different venues around the city if you participate in the gymkhana.
 

We explain what you can find in the Party at Novum:
 

- Workshops: You can participate in different experiments alongside scientists and researchers to learn and discover their most exciting research. It is a good opportunity to become a scientist for a day and share experiences with experts.
 

- Pop-Up Activities: On the Party there is also time for surprises in spaces that can appear anywhere and anytime, where you'll find so surprising experiments as creating clouds or discovering animals capable of generating a fluorescent effect by themselves.
 

- Unique Spaces: There will be places to test yourself and challenge your neurons. Come to watch, play, think, invent and experiment in a science and technology world. Scientists have prepared some experiences that you will not leave you indifferent!
 

- The Gymkhana: A good excuse to visit all the activities in the Party and many museums and centers where science will be the subject. There will be a very special prize for those who make more than five activities during the course.
 

- The Set: An opportunity to ask all those questions that you never dared to ask to a scientist. With the help of Jordi Gil by InfoK, you'll discover the work of different scientists through an interview that will be done with all the questions from the audience.
