Exploring the Catalan modernist legacy in Barcelona

The Modernism Route is back with a discount for residents.

Barcelona is the world capital of Modernisme, and Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner, and Puig i Cadafalch are just some of the creators who filled the city with their iconic buildings. For a number of years now, the City Council of Barcelona has been organizing a Modernisme Route, which takes in up to 120 creations that will enable us to learn more about the historical and artistic period that left such a great mark on the city. On the route we can find the most emblematic buildings in the city (La Pedrera, the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Batlló and the Casa Vicens, among others), along with lesser known, but equally interesting examples of the style, including pharmacies, shops, shops, lanterns and banks. The route is marked by a trail of small red paving stones and all you have to do to follow it is buy the Modernist Route guide, which is on sale at all major bookshops in Barcelona.

This year sees the 7th edition of a promotional offer aimed at city residents through which they can enjoy 50% discount on admission to the best buildings and activities on the route.
