Mecal Air and Mecal Rooftop 2016
Do you want to see some of the best short films from the last edition of the 18 Mecal Pro, International Barcelona Short Film Competition?
For the 9th year running, Plaça del Baluard at Poble Espanyol will be hosting Mecal Air every Saturday in June and July and every Friday in August and September. Mecal Air is an open air cultural project that brings together short films and music in natural surrounding without having to leave the city. The full programme can be consulted here.
At the same time, you will have the possibility of catching, maybe for the second time, short films from past editions of Mecal Air. Under the name of Mecal Rooftop, the rooftop terrace of Hotel Silken Diagonal will become a cool evening venue for these screenings. Admission is free but places are limited so punctuality is recommended.
