A magical place to experience books

The Teatre Nacional de Catalunya presents the Library of Infinite Curiosity, an immersive experience by Marga Socias.

Are you eager to explore fascinating universes through books? Then a singular and unique library awaits you, a place where you can live new adventures through stories, books and questions. During the weekends in May, until 19 May, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya offers the installation-spectacle, the Library of Infinite Curiosity, where you can enjoy this magical place with the whole family (in the photograph by Gema Segura).

In this exhibition, books are transformed into portals that take you to poetic and fantastic worlds that are waiting to be discovered. This is a space open to people of all ages, ideal for families, where you can discover different sections and explore the secrets hidden in the world of books to open the way to other realities. Here, books are real doors to freedom.

We invite you to take a tour of this exceptional space, with scenery by Thomas Roper and soundscape by Carlos Fontova, and discover the full potential of this storytelling museum. This library is fed by questions and during the journey you will be accompanied by unique librarians such as Paula Pascual, Maïka Eggericx, Violeta Avilés, Clara Sáez and Marga Socias. And, above all, you have to bear in mind that books are lived rather than read.

Take the opportunity to experience this immersive adventure with the Library of Infinite Curiosity, which will surely increase your desire to read. The performances will run until 19th May with shows every 30 minutes. The times are on Saturday afternoons (at 5 pm, 5.30 pm, 6 pm and 6.30 pm) and on Sundays in the morning (at 12 noon, 12.30 pm, 1 pm and 1.30 pm). General admission is €8 for children aged 3 to 12 and €10 for adults. If you want to buy it, you can do so from the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya website.
