The musicians and dancers starring in this James Brown tribute

A tribute to the godfather of funk and soul

The Brodas Bros hip-hop and dance company is coming to Teatre Condal with a show packed with rhythm.

Block Party by Brodas Bros. James Brown tribute is the title of a show that will be on stage at Teatre Condal until 19 November. It's a tribute to black music, especially to the figure of James Brown, known to many as the godfather of funk and soul, who left us eleven years ago.

Brodas Bros specialise in breathtaking, spectacular dance routines and the music for this show comes courtesy of Nacion Funk All Stars featuring Lalo López of the Tony Manero Foundation at the helm. In total, six musicians, six dancers and two singers will take part in a show in which the protagonists are ot only on the stage, but also willing to get up from their seats for classics like Sex Machine and Think. In addition to Brown, the other "guests" at the party include Aretha Franklin and Kool & The Gang among many others.
