Jam Sessions at Ateneu l’Harmonia

Students at Taller de Music to play at Ateneu l'Harmonia

On the first Thursday of every month, you'll have the chance to test your musical abilities in an open jam session open to both participants and public.

Taller de Músics is an organisation that has been working in favour of music since 2014 and their latest initiative designed to get people interested in the art form is a jam session that will take place on the first Thursday of every month at Ateneu l'Harmonia in Casal de Sant Andreu. Ateneu L'Harmonia is one of the most popular social spaces in the neighbourhood and occupies one of the rehabilitated buildings at the Fabra i Coats factory site. It is intended to host, facilitate and develop activities and proposals targetting local entities and neighbours with the idea of promoting and developing the social and cultural fabric of the neighbourhood.

At these Jam Sessions, students at Taller de Musics aim to create a dynamic and innovative environment that encourages participants to learn and develop a musical career oriented to any musical style and adjusted to every level of proficiency. There are two ways to take part: as a simple spectator, taking advantage of the opportunity to admire the musical abilities of the students, who will give us a good idea of the excellent educational task being carried out by the institution, or by getting on the stage with them if you think that you're good enough to do that. The first date will be on 18 January at 8pm with the initial participation of David Moyano (bass), Edu Pons (saxophone and flute), Joan Torné (drums) and Marcel·lí Bayer (alto saxophone and bass clarinet ).

You'll find additional information on the Taller de Musics website.
