Hundreds of activities fill Barcelona's hotel terraces
The city's hotels will open up their terraces for a week with activities for all tastes.
Many of the best views of Barcelona can be had from the terraces of the city's hotels. Although many of them are open to the non-guests, locals usually don't have the time to go and visitors get to enjoy them in peace. But from 1 to 10 from June that will hopefully change with the eighth edition of Hotel Terrace Week, when 83 establishments in Barcelona will organize activities for both adults and children on their rooftop terraces in a project designed by MésQHotels and the Barcelona Hotel Association. In addition, they want to encourage participation through a photo contest on Instagram that serves a good cause if they manage to reach a total of 1,000 photos tagged with #SetmanaTerrasses18, they will give 1,000 euros to Business With Social Value.
During the week, more than 270 different activities will be on offer, including magic shows, concerts, gastronomic workshops, wine tastings, yoga classes, exhibitions and plenty more besides. These activities will take place during the afternoon from Monday to Friday and in the morning at the weekends.
