Nit de Mercats

Fun, food and music at the market

Once again, the Night of Markets will bring DJs and live music to the two biggest markets in Barcelona.

For the second consecutive year, Barcelona’s markets, which are important to both the commercial and the social life of its neighbourhoods, are getting ready for Nits del Mercats, an event that calls out to lovers of music, architecture and food to visit two of the city’s markets in the evening. Last year’s edition attracted over 24,000 visitors to three markets, though this year’s programme is scaled down to two: Santa Caterina and Sagrada Familia.

So, on 26 May from 8pm to midnight, you will be able to shop, try tapas and small dishes and listen to music at those two markets At the Sagrada Família, the focus will be on pop, with Elsa de Alfonso and Delorean doing DJ sets, and the band Los Ganglios playing live, while at Santa Caterina the musical angle will be more urban, with hints of hip hop, trap and reggaeton, with Tita Desustance, D'Valentina and Ms Nina.
