A fun way to visit Casa de la Seda

The Casa de la Seda is one of the most emblematic buildings in Ciutat Vella. Located in Carrer Sant Pere Més Alt, on the corner with Via Laietana, the House of Silk holds hidden treasures that you can explore once a month on a dramatised visit in the company of the picturesque character Artur Teixidor, a man from another time who knows all about the building and its history.
With Artur, you‘ll walk around inside while he tells you everything you need to know in a pompous, outdated style that makes the visit a lot of fun. So, if you’re interested in exploring the Casa de la Seda with Mr. Teixidor, the next visit will be this Saturday 28 April, and the following ones are scheduled for the last Saturdays of the month, on 26 May and 23 June. Two visits are scheduled per day – one in Catalan and another in Spanish.
