One hundred and ten exhibitors at the seventh edition of the Design Market

The best current creators, new talents and the most important brands at the forefront of design have a date from 14 to 16 December in Barcelona, ​​and more specifically at Disseny Hub Barcelona. This is the seventh edition of the Design Market, an event that is becoming something of a seasonal tradition around Christmastime. It’s a market for independent designers organized by the FAD (Promotion of Arts and Design), and this year will feature 110 exhibitors, chosen by a committee of members of the different associations that make up the FAD (artists and artisans, directors of art and graphic designers, product designers, architects and interior designers, and fashion designers). With their selection, the FAD is seeking a proposal that distances itself from the traditional Christmas market and that stimulates creative excellence, promotes new talent and brings design closer to society.

Visitors to Disseny Hub Barcelona will find a wide selection of products, from contemporary jewellery and household items to graphic works such as posters, notebooks and calendars, furniture, personal items, fashion and accessories, as well as limited series of artworks. The market also features gastronomy and workshops for adults and for children. The design of the market space, which is also the result of a competitive selection process, is by Cierto Studio and Pràctica Design.
