A scene from 'Rhümia'

Rhümia is back for the Christmas season at Teatre Lluire

This production is the second part of 'Rhum', a tribute to Joan Montanyès 'Monti'.

Following its successful premiere at the Grec Festival in Barcelona last year and its positive reception at Teatre Lliure last Christmas, Rhümia, a circus show featuring Jordi Martínez, Joan Arqué, Roger Julià, Pep Pascual and Mauro Paganini is back at the Lliure again. The production is the sequel to Rhum, a tribute by the circus world to the clown Joan Montanyès 'Monti', who died in May 2013.

In Rhümia, having finished their show, a group of clowns are ready to go out onto the street like "normal" people, but a spark sets alight their idealist spirit arise and makes everything coloured once again. It's an innovative show, with live music, full of humour, and with a touch of the hooligan, which has been received warmly both by audiences and by juries, winning, among others, the Zirkolika Prize for the best circus production.

The show will be on all through the Christmas period, from 21 December to 14 January. Additional information is available at the following link.
