The best performing arts at the Mercat de les Flors
"Oh! Poetics of Illusion" collects innovative proposals from 27 December to 10 January
For this Christmas, the Mercat de les Flors plans to offer a series of unconventional events. Some of the most innovative artists of today performing arts come together in this theater space privileged to offer Oh! Poètiques de la Il·lusió.
From late December until after Reyes we can enjoy a program with an open view to interdisciplinary territories, based on what has been called "poetics of illusion". A compilation of scenic proposals that, through movement, video, words, objects or music, paradigmatic and artists pose unique universal themes from a suggesting and particular way of understanding the world.
French Blick Théâtre inaugurate the program from 27 to 29 December, with [hullu], a fascinating play with puppets, circus clown that rises from a research on autism.
On the same dates, Xavier Bobés and the Companyia Playground introduce Insomni, a show that focuses the eye on objects to find the poetic expressiveness of everyday life. Bobés also presents Cosas que se olvidan fácilmente, a play about memory that reaches the Mercat from January 2.
From 2 to 4 and 8 to 10 January we will know the precarious technology of La máquina de la soledad, a nostalgic project by Shanday Larios and Jomi Oligor.
Impulso, an encounter between the dancer Rocío Molina and artistic and musical collective CaboSanRoque, proposes an exchange of languages on 4 January.
Finally, Nàufrags, by Lluís Danés, close the cycle from 8 to 10 January, with a visual show where puppets, objects, voice and music share the stage.
