The world's best Beatles tribute band live at Palau de la Música
The Mersey Beatles are, for now, the best musical and visual recreation of the Beatles and will perform in Barcelona on an exclusive date.
It's impossible to see the original Beatles in concert, for obvious reasons, so that means that we're left with solo efforts by Paul McCartney or the option of catching a gig by one of the myriad tribute bands around. Of these, the one that is widely considered to be the best, even according to Julia Baird, John Lennon's sister, is The Mersey Beatles, a Liverpool quartet that dresses and performs like the originalBeatles, and who have been playing around the world for years. On 13 January, they'll arrive in Barcelona to appear at the Palau de la Música.
On stage, the band will play popular hits like 'Twist and Shout', 'Let It Be' and 'Paperback Writer', as well as favourite tracks from albums like 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' and 'Revolver'.
