Sara Terraza

The last three concerts in the Summer Evenings cycle at Montjuïc Castle

Sara Terraza, Mercè de la Fuente and Scaramouche are the stars of the last three evenings of music.

Following an intense July, with performances by Womb Trio, Sambala and The Mellow Sound, Montjuïc Castle will also be full of music in August. The concerts, which are programmed within the Summer Evenings cycle, will take place on Sundays starting at 7pm, though entrance to the castle grounds is possible from 3pm.

Sunday 12 August, will see an appearance by Sara Terraza, a young Catalan singer-songwriter who plays pop-soul music in a style that recalls figures like Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Lauryn Hill and Selah Sue. A week later it'll be time for Mercè de la Fuente. The singer and pianist will be accompanied by Santi Colomer on drums and Pau Binds on double bass and will offer a concert featuring her own songs and a number of original covers. The Summer Evenings cycle will draw to a close on 26 August with Scaramouche, a Badalonian group featuring high-energy guitars and smooth melodies headed by singer Susana Nadal.

When the concerts have finished you can take a free shuttle bus down the hill to Plaça Espanya. Additional information is available at the following link.
