20 years of the International Record Fair of Barcelona
The new edition of the great event of vinyl collectors will take place on 3 and 4 October in the Estació del Nord with a fascinating exhibition on the Beach Boys
The weekend of 3 and 4 October the smell of vinyl will fill the environment in the Estació del Nord.
For the XX Fira Internacional del Disc de Barcelona a huge list of national and international exhibitors are concentrated, among which are labels as memorable as Velvet Underground (USA), Good Times (Netherlands), Valerio (Italy), Vinilokura (Zaragoza), Acetate (Valencia) and Factory (Torellò), among many others.
In addition to its 20 years, the Fira wants to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the American band The Beach Boys with a wide exposure and memorabiblia of all periods of the formation, from the personal collection of Joan Ventayol. Among the objects we will find in the exhibition there is the platinum of the compilation Sounds of summer,
he group's first single, tour or tour program of the 50th anniversary of the band, signed by the entire band.
At the Fira del Disc we can also visit the stand Sargent Beatles Fan Club, where the journalist Josep Maria Francino will introduce his book Beatlemania, una crónica personal. On Sunday, will be the teacher Magí Crusells who presents us his new work, titled ¡Que llegan los Beatles!.
