El 'Jazz & food' arriba el dissabte 1 d'octubre al parc del Centre del Poblenou

12 hours of music and food

Parc del Centre in Poblenou to host Jazz & Food on Saturday 1 October

Pedro Javier González & Horacio Fumero, Llibert Fortuny Gas Band and Cyrille Aimée are some of the jazz names set to appear at Parc del Centre del Poblenou on 1 October. Jazz & Food will be offering 12 straight hours of live music and concert-goers will have no reason to go hungry since they will be able to try a variety of dishes from around the world.   For example, Warike Peruvian Street Food will be offering street food from Peru, while Zajebisteria will be inviting people to go on a gastronomic tour of Poland and the Balkans. Foodies Barcelona, on the other hand, will focus on Mediterranean cuisine with influences from other cultures, and sweets, ice-creams and coffees will also be on offer.

Jazz & Food marks the beginning of the Voll-Damm Barcelona International Jazz Festival, and jazz will begin to ring out at Parc del Centre del Poblenou at 12 noon. The first band to take to the stage will be the Liceu Big Band, while Ray Cuza & Septeto Sazonando will put an end to the proceedings. Admission is free.
