All the popular culture events at the 2019 Sants Festival

A year on and the Festa Major or big annual festival is back at Sants, on the city’s move active neighbourhoods, festively speaking. The festival is structured around 24 August, the saint’s day of Sant Bartomeu / St Bartholomew, the neighbourhood’s patron saint. In fact, this year’s celebrations will run from Saturday, 24 August to Sunday, 1 September. As is now customary, the festival has an official programme featuring all the events and activities taking place in the neighbourhood’s participating streets and squares. This edition will see thirteen streets and squares decked out for the occasion, a smaller number than last year’s, given the loss of Carrer de Rossend Arús. But it’s not all bad news: C/ Vallespir, C/ Guadiana, C/ Sagunt, C/ Rosés and C/ Papin are taking part in the annual event.
