In the middle of June, the neighbourhoods hold a two-week-long festa major, the main festival. In the first weekend the activities are concentrated in the Besòs area, and in the second, the events are organised by the Maresme residents.

Vila Olímpica's festa major, the main festival, lasts three days and is held on the Friday to Sunday closest to the first weekend in July.

When the festa major, the main festival, comes round, all of the organisations from Poblenou get actively involved in arranging the activities.

The festival, celebrated in honour of Sant Martí, is arranged by the collective known as the Federació d’Entitats del Clot - Camp de l’Arpa, and all of the organisations in the neighbourhood that are dedicated to popular culture play a very important part.

The coordinator of Entitats Vern is responsible for organising the festival, which is celebrated in honour of Sant Martí. Over two weekends at the beginning of November, a whole host of sporting, cultural and recreational activities take place.
