This summer, from 1 June to 1 October, the Drac rooftop terrace at the Casa Batlló, Antoni Gaudí’s architectural gem, presents its Magical Nights, a unique evening with a cast of 16 artists from different musical disciplines to suit every taste.
The 2017 edition includes the following line-up of artists: swing and jazz by Gisela Novais & The Blue Summers, Spanish guitar by Dúo Aranjuez of guitarists Pablo Despeyroux and Javier Van Velthoven, young Catalan singer-songwriter Stela Nur accompanied by singer Núria Planella, Catalan singer and composer of British origin Monica Guech, the versatility of British singer Lexter, Laura Simó accompanied by Francesc Capella on piano, Roller Disco Combo, the Barcelona group created by the Garrido brothers and Coque Piña, Aires de Rumba, the duo of Antoni Carbonell "Sicus" and David Torras "Barretinta", Russian pianist Olga Kobekina together with soprano Cristina Escolà, Al Sánchez & The Speedway Runners, an Elvis tribute, the Rei del Rock&Roll, the multi-talented voice of Jackie Noir, Barcelona’s Carmen Porcar, the tender voice of Marga Mbande, singer, guitarist and composer Gigi MacFarlane, the classical guitar of Sergi Vicente with a recital of Spanish music, accompanied by a Flamenco and contemporary classical performance by Olga Ponce and finally, the powerful voice of American singer and choir member Monica Green.
