A la sala Mauri i sala Meca
Bernard Plossu is a highly recognised photographer, winner of the national photography award in France. The most important part of his work consists of travel reports.
An admirer of Picasso, Bernard Plossu followed the steps of the genius around the various Catalan landscapes he visited: Horta de Sant Joan, Gósol, Cadaqués and Barcelona, among others. The photographer composes a sort of “photographic diary” of the places now regarded as pivotal in the artistic wealth of Pablo Picasso.
He does this with the Fresson paper technique, which gives the photos a special texture, subtle and frugal, far removed from the grandiose and giving them an extraordinarily poetic quality.
