The Barcelona City Council opens its doors for Sant Jordi

This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., you can learn the big house’s history in the city and walk inside.

The Sant Jordi festival invites to go out, walk, enjoy the good weather, buy books and give roses. Coinciding with this event, Barcelona City Council opens its doors to all visitors who want to discover how the big house is.

From 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., you will be able to visit noble rooms of the council, such as the Saló de Cent, the Chronicles Hall or the Hall of the Regent Queen, where every month the session of the Plenary is celebrated, a work from Francesc Daniel Molina (19th Century).

In addition, this Saturday those who decide to visit the Town hall will have the privilege to know closer of knowing closely the office of work of the mayor, Jordi Hereu, and other dependences of the town hall.
