Workshops, exhibitions, talks and shows will take place throughout November at the Besòs Civíc Center.
The (in) fusión flamenca cycle its 15th edition this year, and promises to be better than ever. The cycle, which is organized by the Besòs Civic Center, will offer, live musical performances, specialized training workshops, exhibitions and family shows, among other activities, from 3 to 25 November in an attempt to helping flamenco reach a wide range of audiences.
The inauguration of (in) fusion flamenco 2017 will take place on the evening of Friday 3 November with the opening of the exhibition by Mireia Massana titled Raíz flamenca, puro duende. The exhibition can be visited until November 25. The exhibition opening will be followed by a concert by singer Ginesa Ortega. On the following day there will be a flamenco workshop and a show for adults and children. Let’s jump now until Wednesday 8, when the documentary Rumba 3 by Joan Capdevila and David Casademunt will be screened. Two days later the Increpación danza company will present All about, a project that reflects on the passage of time and changing cycles The evening of 17 November will see a performance of Contemplación, the winner of the last (in) fusiona't call for residences by flamenco artists that takes place at the Centre Cívic Besòs.
On Friday 24th it will be the turn of Colectivo de Flamenco Calicanto, headed by the voice of Pere Martínez. The band will present their album Aurora. Closing the cycle will be guitarist, composer and producer Pau Figueres, who will offer a concert at the Auditori de Sant Martí accompanied on the bass by Ismael Alzina and on percussion by Arnau Figueres.
