Wildlife Photographer of the Year

The best nature photography of 2015, at CosmoCaixa.

Now in its fifty-first year, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition provides a showcase for the world’s very best nature photography. The competition is owned by the world-renowned and trusted British institution, the Natural History Museum.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year series consists of a major exhibition at the Museum and a worldwide tour. The winning images appear on this website and leading publications worldwide. As a result, the photographs are seen by millions. From the more than 40,000 images submitted by photographers from around the world, a hundred are chosen and grouped into different categories to form the corpus of the exhibition.

Until September 11th you can enjoy this magnificent display of nature shots at CosmoCaixa. You will also discover natural phenomena, the behavior of many animals, or some of the environmental problems that threaten the biodiversity of our planet.
