The most characteristic places in 'The cathedral of the Sea' on a guided walking tour

Explore the real-life settings of the novel by Ildefonso Falcones.

Ildefonso Falcones’ novel The Cathedral of the Sea, and the resulting TV series have awoken plenty of interest in the real-life locations in Barcelona that provide the background to the story. On the Cathedral of the Sea guided walking tour, an expert will guide you around the different scenarios where the action in the novel takes place, visiting iconic spots in the Gothic Quarter and the Born district including Plaça Nova, Plaça de St. Jaume, Plaça del Rei, Carrer de l'Argenteria and, of course, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar.

The walking tour will take place every Sunday of the remainder of the year starting from the main façade of Santa Maria del Mar at 10am and is available in Catalan and Spanish.
