Walking with Gaudí in the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona

The archaeological site, recently opened after a renovation of six months, starts a modern exhibition about the Catalan architect on September 16

Sometimes it seems that we know everything about Antoni Gaudí. But you can always learn more. The new facility which houses the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona has a number of technological equipment that make the visitor travel directly to the world's history, and contact with cultures that influenced Gaudí.

"Walking with Gaudí" is based around augmented reality platforms, LFD technology to large format video wall solutions, multimedia app for mobile devices, tablets and virtual reality.

This is complemented with the collections that the Diocesan Museumguards, which include more than two millennia of civilization. In the three floors of the building we find a unique collection of pieces, objects and documents of Gaudí, bringing together decades of research on the artist. In that repertory we add models and unique digital creations, as a video-prologue, an interactive augmented reality space, audiovisual specifically created for the exhibition, multimedia, holograms, and scenery, offering clues to the influences of the architect of Reus.

The exhibition is divided into four thematic areas, divided into seven rooms: "Influences"; "The worlds of Gaudí"; "Masterpieces" and "The Legacy".
