La Virreina Centre de la Imatge presents an overview of the work of Tres
“Blackout” is the first exhibition showcasing the career of multidisciplinary Catalan artist and researcher Tres.
Tres (Barcelona, 1956 - Premià de Dalt, 2016) was a multi-faceted artist who developed his art in such diverse disciplines as painting, photography, sculpture, installations, performances and music.
La Virreina Centre de la Imatge now presents the first overview of the work of this unclassifiable artist, who came to prominence thanks to his works on silence, and who recognised influences as diverse as actionism, sound art, photography, video and painting.
The “Blackout” exhibition is organised by Valentín Roma, the director of La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, and can be seen at the arts centre until 18 June.
