“V-E-U-S!”, at the Teatre Gaudí

The Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió (Friends of the Union Children’s Choir) offers a musical variety show on 25 May, with works from a range of periods and styles

On Sunday 25 May at 12 noon in the Teatre Gaudí in Barcelona the Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió (Friends of the Union Children’s Choir), an award-winning group of singers aged 11-17, gives a concert that blends music and theatre. The show goes under the name of V-E-U-S! and, to quote the members of the choir themselves, “it’s a concert you not only see and hear, but also breathe, touch and experience”. The group also boasts very special lighting and a set designed to make the spectator feel like a member of the choir.

The Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió was established in 1996 with the Escola de Música, which was founded that same year within the Societat Coral Amics de la Unió de Granollers. The group is mainly known for performing works from a range of periods and styles, placing a particular emphasis of popular Catalan and independent music.
