Utopia Photo Market 2016
A meeting place for established and up and coming photographers and professionals working in the sector (publishers, bookshops, collectives, schools, presses) … and a varied and interesting schedule of activities related to the world of photography.
Utopia Photo Market is one of the most exciting new projects to have emerged recently in Barcelona. The aim is to offer support to the enormous reserve of talent in the country. For photo fans it’s a unique opportunity to discover, browse and buy the work of both well-established and up-and-coming talent and to enjoy a variety of activities related to the world of photography.
The Utopia Photo Market, which will take place from the 10th to the 12th of July, will also feature a talk by Andreu Buenafuente, creator of the captura.org platform, and Javier Mariscal, who will create digital drawings based on photographs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their portraits taken by Toni Amengual, a photographer who is capable of uncovering the beauty in people’s imperfections.
