TV series “tasting sessions” on the 27th and 30th of October

FNAC El Triangle will screen episodes of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, “Sons of Anarchy” and “American Horror Story”

During the month of October, FNAC El Triangle will offer free screenings of episodes of popular current North American TV series in evidence of the boom in televised fiction in contemporary society. Selected series in this case include Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sons of Anarchy and American Horror Story.

The first two series will be shown on the 27th of October, beginning at 6 pm with the first episode of the first season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., part of the universe of superheroes to emerge from the Marvel factory, a universe which also includes Thor, Iron man, Captain America and The Avengers, among others. Starring Clark Gregg, who would also appear in some of the films, Marvel’s Agents... is one of the most ambitious and expensive fictional series to come out of the North American TV station, ABC.

Following this, beginning at 7 pm, the screening will continue with the first episode of the sixth season of the cult series Sons of Anarchy, which has earned legions of followers the world over. Created by Kurt Sutter, the series focusses on the lives of the members of a motorcycle club who operate outside the law in a town in Northern California. Charlie Hunnam, also known for the film Pacific Rim, is the star of the series, which will broadcast its final episodes this year.

The 30th of October will be dedicated in its entirety to the Ryan Murphy series American Horror Story, a horror anthology with numerous references to other films and series in the genre. The first three episodes of the third season, which focusses on the world of witchcraft in the state of New Orleans, will begin at 6 pm. American Horror Story stars, among others, veteran actresses Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates, both winners of Emmy Awards for their interpretations in the series.

The “series tasting” will take place in FNAC El Triangle on the 27th and 30th of October. Entry is free, shows begin at 6pm and more information is available here.
