“Tutankhamen: unknown facts about his reign”, a conference in the Museu Egipci

The conference will be presented on Thursday the 7th of February, as part of the exhibition “Tutankhamen, the story of a discovery”

For some weeks now, the Museu Egipci de Barcelona, has been hosting the exhibition Tutankhamen, the story of a discovery. The exhibition will continue until the end of May and will include a series of related conferences, the first of which took place on the 24th of January, titled Maleïda maledicció! (Damned Curse!).

Next Thursday, the 7th of February, will be the turn of Tutankhamen, unknown facts about his reign, presented by Emma González, Egyptologist and director of studies at the museum. The following conferences, which begin in mid-February and will be held every two weeks, are titled Anatomy of a Pharaoh, The road to discovery: Howard carter and Lord Carnarvon, Wonderful things; the treasure of Tutankhamen and A king’s funeral.

All conferences begin at 7 pm and the entry fee is 10 €, except for members of the Friends of the Museum, who pay just 5 €. The entry fee for the conference includes a visit to the temporary exhibit.
