A trek through the Horta district
The 8 km walk will take place on the 14th of September as part of the annual festivities
The two sporting associations, Unió Esportiva d’Horta and Unió Excursionista d’Horta have organised the first edition of the Festa Major's Annual Festival Trek, to coincide with the district’s annual festivities.
The trek is organised for Saturday, the 14th of September, at 9 am and covers 8 km beginning at the Horta Municipal Football grounds, continuing along a route to the Serralada de Collserola and finishing up at the avinguda de l’Estatut.
Inscription is free and is open to anyone over 8 years of age, whatever their level, though participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Walking is an excellent way of keeping fit while passing some quality time in company. As this is a sporting event, participants are advised both to bring water, or other liquids, for hydration purposes, and to wear suitable footwear.
