An initiative devoted to ideas worth spreading in the areas of global health and development  where topics like vaccines, polio, malaria and HIV/AIDS will be discussed.

TEDxChange is an event created out of a partnership between the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the TEDx program. It is an initiative devoted to ideas worth spreading in the areas of global health and development that on this occasion will take place on Wednesday April 3 from 6 pm to 23 pm in the Colegio Oficial de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de Cataluña (Travessera de Gràcia, 93 -95 Barcelona).

Theme TEDxChange 2013: Positive disruption

Disruption
is usually unwelcome. It representa conflict, chaos, and potential danger. But disruption can be a positive-sometimes vital-Catalyst for change. It can challenge old Assumption, Ignite conversations, activate authorities and exponga new posibilitan. Dis ruption can shed a unique light on difficult issues, giving a fresh Urgency and perspective to the challenges of our global community. To solvethemostintractab lechallengesin health and development, we need positive disruption. It is the path to true progress.
