Teatre Lliure de Montjuïc hosts 'La llista' (The List)

Laia Marull is the star of this monologue by Canadian playwright Jennifer Tremblay.

The team made up of Laia Marull and the La Brutal company has already appeared on the stage atTeatre Lliure in Gràcia. We still remember the powerful staging of Hedda Gabler directed by David Selvas. Their latest offering takes us to Espai Lliure at Teatre Lliure in Montjuïc where we can see La llista, a monologue by playwright Jennifer Tremblay, which won the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2010.

On this occasion, Laia Marull will be under the guidance of director Allegra Fullton, who performed in the original version. The story is about a woman who makes apparently banal lists of the things she has to do throughout the day. It’s the story of someone who shuns life and has a vivid inner world, which makes up a storyline that speaks of regret.
