Swan Lake

The best in classical ballet is back at Teatre Tívoli

The Moscow Ballet will be performing Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lale' from 12 to 24 September.

A dance season in Barcelona, and indeed in any city, wouldn't be complete without a performance of ‘Swan Lake’, probably the most famous ballet of all time. Tchaikovsky's classic is one of the most original, complex and complete works in the romantic ballet repertoire and a good thermometer to discover to what extent dancers prize quality. If you'd like to relive the magic of his story of redemption and death, don't miss the performances scheduled in September at Teatre Tívoli, featuring one of the best-considered companies in the world, the Moscow Ballet. The performances will run from 13 to 24 September.

The Moscow Ballet was founded by Timur Fayziev in 1989 with the aim of touring the world with the finest examples of Russian ballet, and the company's annual date in Barcelona has become a classic of the season. On this occasion, the main attractions will be Cristina Ustimov and Anatoly Ustimov.

You'll find more informaiton on the Teatre Tívoli website, where you can also buy tickets.
