The Contemporary Art Fair takes the city and the Fira Barcelona, from 1 to 4 October
Swab emerged in 2006 as an initiative of Diezy7 Contemporary Art Space, with the idea of supporting emerging art galleries, and create opportunities for artists, curators and collectors to enjoy a common area to enter the art market.
With this approach, the topics on the secrecy and elitism that sometimes surround the contemporary art world fall apart and it become smore accessible to the general public.
In this show, we are offered the opportunity to discover lots of works of contemporary art, from the refined selection of a committee of directors of galleries as well as professionals of the art world, that perform a search process behind the work progress of the artists.
In addition, Swab not only bets on emerging art in the creative field, but wants to encourage the collecting, supporting the initiation of this practice through the participation of young artists with affordable works.
