Summer Nights at Montjuïc Castle

For three summer nights the castle will become a space for enjoying art performances.

The Summer Nights at the Castle Cycle is back for a second year to transform the castle moat into a place for art performances and food from roaming food trucks during three consecutive Friday evenings in June. Access to the precinct is free from 8pm on and from 10pm there will be a free shuttle bus linking the castle with Plaça Espanya.

The programme features a concert-cabaret for people set on having a good time, with Circ amb Violeta, a collective spectacle by La Persiana and Venancio y los Jóvenes de Antaño; the sweet rhythms of Slingshots, a band made up of eight experienced members and an extensive musical background, and Claqué & Percussió fearturing the Camut Band, which was created in 1994 by choreographers and dancers Rafael and Lluís Méndez and the percussionist Toni Español, and has focused its attention on the research, creation and performance of interdisciplinary performances based on tap dancing.
