André Marchiori will be playing his 'Brazilian Jazz' at Casa de les Punxes on 6 July

Summer nights full of rhythm at Casa de les Punxes

Live music will ring out on the rooftop terrace of this Puig i Cadafalch building every Friday from 22 June to 31 August.

The Nits amb ritme concerts are back for another summer season on the rooftop terrace of Casa de les Punxes, one of the most emblematic buildings that the Catalan modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafach designed in Barcelona. The concerts will bring jazz, swing, bossanova and soul to the rooftop at 420 Avinguda Diagonal every Friday from 22 June to the last day of August, offering an exceptional opportunity to experience a concert in a unique space as dusk descends on Barcelona. In addition, the price of admission includes access to the exhibition on the main floor and the terrace, so you can enjoy a tour through the history and symbols of the building.

The doors will open at 7pm, and the musicians will begin to play at 8pm. You’ll even be served a glass of cava. July’s concerts feature swing and gypsy jazz by Scaramouche on the 22nd and singer and composer Zazu on the 29th, while July sees appearances by André Marchiori (6th), Tina and Joe (13th), Scaramouche again (20th) and Heart & Soul (27th). In August, it will be the turn of Casi el mejor trío de tu vida (3rd), Marcelo (10th), Heart & Soul again (17th), Salt and Soul (24th), and the 2018 series of concerts will conclude with another performance by Casi el mejor trío de tu vida, which is made up of three members from three different countries who play a mixture of musical styles with jazz and Dixieland roots.
