Five unique concerts in the gardens of the Sant Pau Modernist Ensemble

The fifth edition of the Summer Concerts cycle begins with flamenco, funk and pop, among other styles.

The Hospital de Sant Pau Modernist Ensemble has become a popular venue for a range of cultural events, including another edition of Summer Concerts, a series of outdoor musical performances that stand out for the quality of the performers involved. This year sees five formations on stage at Sant Pau over the summer. Local disco band funk Fundación Tony Manero will open proceedings on 28 June, presenting their latest album, Lugares comunes. Bedouine, a Syrian indie folk singer who has just released her acclaimed first album, will follow on 5 July. Next up, on 12 July, is Ethno Catalonia, a traditional music project that has brought together young people of between 16 and 35 years of age from around the world for two weeks in which they share their experiences and play some amazing concerts. Then it’ll be time for Roger Mas, one of the most renowned Catalan singer-songwriters on the current scene on 19 July. Finally, on 26 July, Las Migas are four talented musicians who combine guitars, violin and voices to produce a unique spectacle.

Performances start at 9pm and 9.30pm and tickets, costing between €12 and €18 can be bought at the box office or at the following link.
